In my unceasing quest to obtain the latest and greatest health techno-gadgets I ordered the new Fitbit Force at the end of October.
(Above: my new baby)
For those of you who don’t know, the Fitbit is basically a glorified pedometer…VERY glorified. It tracks steps taken, of course, but also stairs climbed, has a clock face, knows when you are running vs. walking, and even monitors your sleep. Very cool stuff. I’m pretty excited to have it on my wrist.
Speaking of having it on my wrist, it finally shipped yesterday!
I did a mental happy dance when I read the email (I was at work…a real happy dance would have drawn very strange looks). So in 5-10 days I will be that much more technically equipped to track my average daily exercise and caloric expenditure. So fancy!
